A Couple And Their 3-Months-Old Baby have died in a fire outbreak in Jega Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

It Was Gathered that the man identified as Musibau Abubakar, his wife and daughter lost their lives when fire gutted their house on Wednesday night, February 7, 2024.

Meanwhile, Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris has donated N10m to Musibau's family and N50m to traders whose shops were also gutted by fire in Jega last month.

Gov. Idris gave the donation on Thursday, February 8, when he paid a condolence visit to the family residence of the deceased as well as the scene of market inferno.

"N50m is for those whose shops were burnt down on 16th January 2024, while N10m is for the family that lost their lives. At this juncture, I want to pray to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased shortcomings and grant them Jannatul Firdaus," the Governor said.

The governor described the inferno as an act of God Almighty that nobody had the right to question and advised the family members and friends to always remember the deceased in their prayers for God Almighty to have mercy on their souls.

The next sad thing is that those in charge of disbursing the gift money will still rob the beneficiaries cos many Nigerians steal from every opportunity. They will collect a percentage before giving the rest to victims. Many Nigerians are a disgusting bunch. The richer they are the more vicious their corrupt ways.
