For the past 8+ days, there has been a power shortage (and certain areas of the country have experienced outages for an entire month). Recently, Nigeria restored diplomatic relations with Niger Republic, which had been under sanctions due to a military takeover. Could there be a connection between the power shortage and the renewed diplomatic ties, considering Nigeria's role in supplying electricity to Niger? What are your thoughts on this matter?
