Aba still gets power allocation from Transmission Company of Nigeria, which is a meagre 25MW. Only those on line 33 main are enjoying the allocation. Those on line 11 may get 2 or 3 hours, while those on line 33 ukwa are the worst affected. Line 33 ukwa have been without power since Saturday morning. Geometric power plant has not been connected to the city. I will be among the first to testify when Aba starts having 24/7 power supply. Because our generator for pumping water will now rest in peace, I can subscribe to cable tv, cook egusi soup and store in fridge. 1 Like |
