MI Abaga, a well-known hip-hop artist and music executive from Nigeria, has revealed the reasons behind why many artists use narcotics.

The performer has raised awareness of the pervasive issue of mental health issues in the entertainment sector.

MI Abaga expressed his concerns in an interview regarding the predisposition of creative professionals to these kinds of issues. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

According to MI Abaga, creatives—including artists—are particularly vulnerable to mental health problems since they are frequently the targets of rejection, hopelessness, and negativity. According to MI Abaga, “many artists are turning to drugs due to rejection.”

Yes it is, but this is where self control comes in. They are some times we just have over look things and be strong moving forward.

also, many of these artists do drugs because its something seen as cool to do in the music industry and/or supposedly helps with creativity.
