When will Akpabio resign over budget padding? Nigeria is just a theater of play. Instead for those principal officers of the Senate to be suspended for fraud, they are the one suspending a senator. I have given up on this country many years ago.

Senator Shehu Sani said a few days ago that the minute you are a whistle blower in the Senate or House of reps, your colleagues will suspend you and stop your salary and allowances hence even the ones who want to say the truth will NEVER do so for fear of what to eat and how to fund their lavish lifestyles.

So, NOTHING good can come out of the National Assembly nor from Tinubu, Wike, Akpabio and the lot of them corrupt, greedy and wicked Nigerian politicians.

Irish Prime Minister, Varadkar Announces Resignation Over 'Personal, Political Reasons'

Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar says he will step down as leader of the country soon as a successor is chosen.

Varadkar in a resignation statement outside Government offices in Dublin on Wednesday said he is also quitting immediately as head of Fine Gael Party, part of Ireland's coalition Government.

He will be replaced as Prime Minister after a Party leadership contest.

According to Associated Press, Varadkar said his reasons were "both personal and political."

"When I became Party leader and Taoiseach (Prime Minister) back in June 2017, I knew that one part of leadership is knowing that the time has come to pass on the baton to somebody else, and then have the courage to do it. That time is now,"

"I am resigning as President and leader of Fine Gael effective today and will resign as the Taoiseach as soon as my successor is able to take up that office."

"I'm proud that we have made the country a more equal and more modern place," he said.

Varadkar, 45, has had two spells as taoiseach, or Prime Minister — between 2017 and 2020, and again since December 2022.

He was the country's youngest-ever leader when first elected, as well as Ireland's first openly gay Prime Minister.

Varadkar, whose mother is Irish and father is Indian, was also Ireland's first biracial taoiseach.

This is 100% true. I'm into immigration practice and Nigerian visas are very difficult to get. Many foreigners complain about the difficulty of obtaining a Nigerian visa. As for Nigerian citizenship, not only is it very long and strenuous, foreign men married to Nigerian women aren't entitled to Nigerian citizenship. This is why it is so difficult for Nigeria to attract foreign investors. Our immigration rules are very stringent.
EnglandAmaka:
I have told several people this but they don’t want to believe that Nigerian visa is hard to get.
It’s funny though but that’s the truth.

Nigerian visa is the among the hardest to get in the world. It is easier to get an American visa than a Nigerian one. I know say many of you don't know this.
E dey hard for foreigners to get it, and Nigerian citizenship is like almost impossible. It takes over 15 years while America is about 7 years.

There’s no reason why Tinubu, the best president Nigeria has ever had should resign just because you don’t like him.
2. Even if Tinubu was a bad leader like the past presidents, Nigeria is one reason why he shouldn’t resign, no other tribe would resign no matter what and Tinubu is not an exception. You wouldn’t have asked any other president from another tribe to resign, y’all are just holding Yoruba to a different standard because Yoruba are the ones who are more likely to follow democratic principles. But hold by beer, we’re now playing by the rules of the game too.
humilitypays:
Tinubu should take a bow too and break the record in Africa and Nigeria as the first West African President to resign due to underperformance and inability to meet 5% of campaign promises angry

Nigeria is not a real country and we can only thank the Tinubus of this world for trying to salvage the geographical area as best as he can.
African president don’t resign, not to talk of the best of the best like Tinubu.

The man and his sugar adventures have everything to do with why young people are not ready for leadership roles, they are still finding themselves and will do worse than the old people when given the opportunities. Trudeau has destroyed Canada, Macron has turned France upside down.
