Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, BREXIT, USSR to mention a few had filks who shared a lot in common from ancestry, culture, beliefs and world view to language and dialects still separated. How much more should so-called countries pretending to be nations in Africa which are mere geographic carvings partitioned into existence by through European imperialist. Nigeria is an expired colonial cage where only fools accept that idemtity, all these suffer heads and their oppressors in govt. either have their ilks and children schooling in the best schools/uni abroad but expect everyone to accept the retrogression this failed state unleashes from one useless administration to another. An amlagalm of incompatible ethnic nationalities cramped to live as one under a pseudo identity. Is that how European ethnographic nations emerged. See, I have stopped blaming the oppressors who have no clue about governance but always force themselves in govt to continue the perpetuation of an unnceasing onslaught of economic hardship on the brain dead populace who are incapable of sitting down and think for a second how is anyone actually a Nigerian. If any one was, in the true meaning of actual citizenry, shouldn't the law and constitution supersede all where impunity dare not reign, wouldn't human rights violation cease if not minimal, japa-syndrome wouldn't even appeal to anyone, but what does exist... Confused so-called leaders leading confused masses in a lost and confused territory as all kinds of parasitic parties keep knocking in themselves in to fulfil whatever the porous system permits their sinister agenda to happen, from social vampires like the so many Ponzi schemers preying on the impoveriehee masses to various versions of jihadists and marauders laying waste to all that stands on their path, to the economic assassins from the West doing their own thing covertly, to the greedy telcos, suffocated banks suffocating people etc. It's just a living hell out here. And the people continue build up resilience, soaking in the hardship at the detriment of their mental and physical welfare. I'm not spared. 99% the fools screaming one Nigeria on this forum are coded Japa-nese who at the slightest opportunity would board the next plane to go live overseas. How they can't imagine actualizing those things that attracts them away to go slave away in other nations been done in an ethnolinguistic homogenous nations of theirs continue to beats me.

I agree with you wholeheartedly! The issue is that Nigerians fail to realize that any country put together based on a clash of value systems or cultures will never work. The citizens have been so browbeaten that they suffer from Stockholm syndrome and would defend their oppressors. In Nigeria, when you fight the oppressors, you do NOT fight with both hands, you use one hand to fight them, and the other hand you use to vigorously fend off the oppressed because they are the ones that would give you the toughest fight.

It's laughable seeing Imams, pastors, elder statemen, hardcore fundamentalist Christians and Muslims, defend "One Nigeria".... a country named by Lord Lugard, a confirmed pedophile, and his mistress, a.k.a, ASHAWO.

Yugoslavia broke up; today Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia are making progress.
India broke up; today India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh are making progress
Singapore and Malaysia broke up; today they are both developed countries
Czechoslavia broke up; today Czech Republic and Slovakia are separate countries making progress.
Even UK recently devolved powers to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland!

Meanwhile Nigeria is forced to be together in idiotic 'One Nigeria' but ordinary light, clean water, good road, hospital, school... we no get.

Black people! they swear for us Break this country up, at least one fit make progress for all of us.

IF BREAKING UP THIS SHAM CALLED NIGERIA WILL MAKE US HAVE STEADY LIGHT, LIKE GHANA, THEN SO BE IT.

Gistmedia10:
Authorities have uncovered a warehouse purportedly linked to "Yoruba Nation agitators" in Ibadan, Oyo State. The discovery, which came as a result of a joint operation by security agencies, has raised concerns about escalating tensions in the Southwest region.

Upon raiding the warehouse, security operatives seized a cache of items, including camouflage uniforms, weapons, and other paraphernalia. The recovery of these materials has sparked fears of potential security threats and unrest in the area.

The Oyo State Government, in collaboration with security agencies, has vowed to take decisive action against those involved in the illegal activities. Calls for the apprehension and prosecution of all culprits have intensified, with stakeholders urging both the Federal Government and the Oyo State Government to act swiftly.

cheesy cheesy That's true. This one though can't succeed for many reasons. The Yorubas are in power for most likely the next 7/8 years. Most Yorubas don't see a reason to back out of the Nigerian project. Yorubas generally will not back up "criminality"(anything against the law), unlike what happened in the North and East where the elites and elders silently and secretly agree with the ideologies. In the SWest, the yoruba nation ideology is mainly supported by urchins and some few aggrieved and largely powerless people. It only gained traction during the Buhari administration because of Fulani herdsman issues and impunity.

I am wondering that I didn't hear that any one was shot or killed. But if it was in the Southeast that you heard that a group attempted to invade the government house to hoist their flag, you would've been seeing pictures flying around of scores of dead bodies. It's like the military or police intervention here applied so much caution in this operation to avoid casualties because of the region involved.
