If you know Anambra state like I know it, investment on schools and education in General started from nearly 100 years ago. Towns, rich individuals, governments at all levels, churches and other NGOS has been build and maintaining schools since time immemorial.

When Peter Obi rose to power, he knew what the problem was, not new schools, but making the old schools work. The private sector were still building many more schools, so why will he worry himself. He gave the school back to the missions, and funded them to take care of the schools. That was a masterstroke. The schools did so well, Anambra schools started taking firsts.

From a business standpoint, you cannot be wasting money building new infrastructure when you can squeeze profits and results from existing infrastructure. Business 101.

We are happy with what Peter Obi did in Anambra, refusing to waste money in new projects when they are not needed, while funding existing facilities to make the best results.
