Nigeria leaders from 1960 till date ought to bury their heads in shame. None of them has been unable to provide power . And some idiots will still come on line to lecture me on how PDP is better than APC etc. As if it’s not the same crop of leaders crops at petting around.

This is the irony.....the argument that PO is the Messiah of the Biafrans is far from the truth....but, the way BATman is heralded is mediocrity of thought on another level.
No need to yap. Anon Nigerian could make us have power, so why is it difficult now for APC...?
Poor people

If it is that same write up you are misquoting here, believe me brother, I am really sorry to say; serious old age is already telling on you trust me.

It is you that incomprehension is affecting. Or else, how do you explain the last part of the write up, which says Tanzania still suffers chronic electricity supply shortage.

While an average Nigerian would've rather embezzled the money meant for power generation, buy solar for his home and use the rest to go and flex in America or Europe where power is stable.

The level of corruption in our country is no longer a pathetic issue but ignorance and pure evil.
too much wicked and heartless minds in Nigeria, the character and altitude of people in a country can make the country progress or be stagnant,

You can't compare population of 200M of Nigerians to 64.2M population of Tanzanians.

Maybe you sha but not me.
You obviously don't know the origin of the term "epileptic power supply."

STFU and stop taunting people living with epilepsy. Epileptic is only associated with people living with the condition of epilepsy. It is wrong to use epileptic as a adjective to modify or qualify "POWER SUPPLY"! It is obviously a Nigerian English that is wrong and bad. Learn, un-learn and re-learn, mf

Many people will not read the write up.

The write up says Tanzania still suffers chronic power shortage.

They said there are low demand and also cited that one of the plants is powering major cities already

They will not read that. No disagreement about disappointments from our leaders but why hating your country to only stick to read only headlines

This is what I found and copied from Google

"How many people in Tanzania don't have electricity?
In the entire country, around 29 percent of households were connected to electricity. In 2018, Tanzania was among the 15 countries with the biggest share of population with low access to electricity (36 percent), while the global average was 90 percent.30 Jan 2024"

" How many Nigerians are without electricity?
However, a substantial portion of the world population still face challenges in obtaining reliable and affordable electricity. “Here in Nigeria it is estimated that a whopping 92 million people are still suffering from energy poverty, which is over 40 per cent of our estimated population,” the minister stated.3 Mar 2024"

Did you read the part where they said this is the first, last paragraph

"It is the first time Tanzania, which suffers chronic power shortages, has closed hydroelectric stations as a result of excess production."

Meaning, there is now excess production
