The whole world knows who the original owners of Jerusalem and by extension Israel are. It predates Christianity and Islam.

Those making noise are doing so either out of ignorant or denial.

Israel Belongs to the Jews.

I think the #9 is an error of commission. It ought not to be there unless the Byzantine Empire later reclaimed it from the Sassanid Empire.

Abraham is originally from the city of UR in ancient Mesopotamia which is in present day Iraq, that should be the ancestral homeland of the Jews and not where they are today don’t you think?

When you want to argue with muslims about the true ownership of the land, they won't want you to use Bible, Quran, any history book or archeological findings. All they know is that Israel was created in 1948. As far as they are concerned there's no memory that preceded 1948.

Israel is mentioned in the Bible more than 4,000 times and in the Quran more than 40 times. Palestine was never mentioned even once. Palestinians are settlers from around the world but majorly from Syria.

Do you know whether the ancestors of Abraham came from the present day Israel? It's possible. Maybe that's why they are where they are today, claiming their land.

Palestines are settlers, they don't own the land.
The real reason for their fight is jihad.
The average Muslim hates anything Jewish and they want them dead.
This is why, when Hamas attacked Israel, they kept shouting Allah uakbar..
This gives this whole thing a religious undertone, yet they want us to believe that it is about land.
If the west allows Hamas to take over israel, they will want to take over America and the west.
The final goal is Islamic world domination, implementing Sharia and everything Islam...
The way I see it,Islamic hidden agenda will be the reason for the next world war.

Simple question for you, are the people mentioned in no. 18 not the ancestors of those currently living there today?

Or are you telling me the name a place is called more important than the people who occupy that region.

Also many people dont know the history of the those land outside the Bible. They easily forget the kingdom of Isreal was not a power house back then infact they are not a threat to big kingdom back then.

You no dey read Bible? Abraham was the father of Isaac and the grandfather of Jacob. Jacob whose name was later changed to Israel had 12 sons, the 12 sons of jacob became the 12 tribes of Israel, the jews are descendants of the ancient Israelites and this makes them a direct descendants of Abraham.

The topic of this thread has to do with history, and history is the study of past events that had occurred in the past. In order to judge the present and determine the future historical account has to be taken into deep consideration.

Even the op mentioned happenings that unfolded in the eras of antiquity, such as dynastic succession, imperial warfare and conquest in ancient times of what is now Palestine, this to a large extent gives more credit to his analysis.

Speaking from the above it would be unfair to discredit my previous write up on the origin of Abraham and his transcending generations who now occupy modern day Israel and parts of Palestine.

I mean the Canaanites. I actually expect your answer to be yes or no. Israel and the arabs are from the same stock, they share the same DNA, they have close language tie, they share similar language, arabic is from ancient aramic and hebrew language. They share same beliefs, they both worship El and other deities in old, later modified to monotheism though Israelites tried to modify their stories back to the beginning but the different texts discovered so far leave enough traces to the fact.

Even the Bible agrees Abraham is from ur which is from Mesopotamia.

So in essence the land belongs to all of them they should stop killing each other by creating a new country to accommodate the other people since y'all can't live together.

It is wrong to discuss antiquity based on self assumption, you need to follow the required acknowledgeable channel which involves making research and gathering evidence from historical, anthropological and archeological findings.

I agree with you but you need to know the genesis of this present problem which is Palestine. UN had divided the land for them but Palestinians rejected it saying they want all FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA. Then they went into war with Israel in 1948 but it results into nakba (catastrophe) for them. Many were killed and hundreds of thousands were displaced. In 1967, Arab countries joined them to fight Israel but Israel defeated them in six days. It was then Israel seized Sinai Peninsula and Gaza strip from Egypt, West Bank from Jordan and Golan heights from Syria. After 1967 war, Israel gave Palestinians the first opportunity to rule themselves. Before then there had never been Palestine government.

Israel has supported two states solution in the past but always rejected by Palestine. It seems they are enjoying their refugee status and doesn't want that to change. They received millions of dollars every month from Europe and that has made them lazy. They produce nothing.
