A video is now trending online in which HE Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour party referred to the youngest governor then as a D¥sgr@ce.

His interviewers quizzed him -asking who he was referring to - but he declined to answer.

Many are of the Opinion that he was referring to the Former Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello.

Yahaya Bello's performance is a big blow to all young people who argue that the older generation should leave leadership to the young ones to govern because we will do better than them.

What does that tell you about Young people

He who comes to equity must come with clean hands

“Unmitigated disaster”. Was that not a very correct description of whoever Obi referred to?

“The youngest governor”. He called himself a youth and he positioned himself to contest as the youth President.

An unmitigated disaster truly. No ex governor has ever made such shame and mockery of himself in this manner, after exiting power. Obiano almost evaded EFCC, but was held without such stress. This unmitigated disaster, with clear evidences of fraud, has been on the run and called a fugitive.

How would a man dip his hands into public coffers and pay over $800k as school fees for his children. The future fees for his children were paid from the public purse. Youths of his community, most of whom are not educated, have blockaded roads and consulted shrines and native doctors, to prevent EFCC from carrying out its statutory function of arrest this man, who behaves presently like a common thief. His wife too appear to be on the run for directly stealing from state house purse!

If this man became the President, what would have happened with all the natural resources and funds? He would have become another Idi Amin of Africa, with the central bank of Nigeria.

Disaster is the word when you look at his state. Everywhere is in shambles, with such mineral resources available. No development and yet citizens of the state back his party and officials.

Once again, until the citizens wake up and hold leaders accountable, they will keep impoverishing them and treating them all like thrash.

Trying to win elections in Nigeria without using a platform that has widespread reach and people to protect your votes is just another wishful thinking.
