All miscreants deserve jail time whether they are Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Ikwerre, Kanuri, Fulani, Calabari, Idom, Efik.

On another note, people have been complaining of robbery under bridges in Lagos. Why didn't the police react until theirs was affected? State Police must stand!

Robbing on that bridge for five years and they are just catching them, which begs the question, will the police have swung into action if it wasn't one of their own that was attacked?
I hope the injured police officer is doing okay and recuperating well

The news is alarming. Hearing about violent crimes, particularly those committed against law enforcement personnel who defend the public, is upsetting. I'm hoping the attack hasn't affected the DPO too much, and I applaud the police for catching the criminals so quickly. These kinds of instances emphasize how crucial it is to protect our law enforcement officers while they perform their duties.

To protect the law enforcement officers is more important than protecting the citizens that are supposed to be protected?

Didn’t you read that they’ve been operating on the bridge for 5 good years.

If the DPO wasn’t attacked, do you think they’ll go after them?
