A lot of governors don't actually care about the development of their life state. They're just there to loot as much money as possible.

Most states in Nigeria, once you leave the capital more than 65% of the remaining local governments are under developed. Bad roads, no electricity, zero presence of banks and other businesses...etc.

Would you expect a foreigner to invest in such a place?
Most governors are crazy. Even Woke who was suppose to put some of his energy into the songhai farm in ogoni. His interests was to establish supermarkets, no productive activities. Many of the governors are really only concerned about contract kick backs and looting

Politics of tribe and corrupt “emi lo kan” will not allow Nigeria attract foreign investments despite having the potential

Even the $200 million investors that came through, they destroyed to build coastal highway, something no other country will do to its own.

How will foreign investors be interested?
it's just a big lie, if you know landmark beach. It can be worth more than a 1m dollars. You people are just something else.

You are still bitter about emilokan whereas, the state he governed is the most viable state in the country is not in the list
If you believe that $200 million propaganda, you need an I.Q test

No SW state on the failure list.

1.Bauchi
2. Bayelsa
3. Benue
4. Borno
5. Cross River
6. Ebonyi
7. Edo

9. Gombe
10. Imo
11. Jigawa
12. Kaduna
13. Kebbi
14. Nasarawa
15. Sokoto
16. Taraba
17. Yobe
18. Zamfara

Imagine the thousands of businesses that will spring up along that 700km coastal highway.

Heck, Tinapa would start booming again.

People can drive to Akwa Ibom to watch Nigeria play and stop over in a coastal town in Delta or Bayelsa along the coastal highway to have fish and seafood peppersoup.

Business would boom for every town in different states along that highway. But you are so shortsighted that all you are looking at is 1 umbrella business (really worth less than 1million dollars) on about 50metres of the 70,000metres corridor.
Some people will never agree grin, South West is best part of this country!! No debate!! No argument!! . I either stay in south west or leave the country grin

I was thinking this Zulum get head sef with the shows in national television yet Oga can't even attract toothpick industry to his state. Borno is one of the states receiving high treasury pack from federation accounts. And we have North East development commission for that matter that attracts little or nothing in terms of FDI. What exactly is Borno contributing to nation's economy? If not Bokoharam and insurgency that never ends caused by their politicians and that keeps crippling our economy, what else? This country needs to be restructured for these good for nothing governor to go finds FDI to develop their regions not depending on oil money from the south.

That's why they don't want restructuring.
The only good thing Tinubu can do to help this country is to restructure the country.

Wow! Interestingly ADAMAWA STATE was not in the list - so it attracted Foreign Investors. But the painful aspect of is that only 7 states out of the 19 Northern states attracted Foreign Investors - the whole of 12 states did not. Dem no try at all. This should be taken into consideration when next Election comes up! They are there just waiting for Federal Government fund allocations and IGR to share it amongst themselves! This is a yardstick for measuring. Who does that and expect to be re-elected come "2027 Elections"?

Uncle Nogheghase signed a lot of MOUs's, a lot of consultancy fee was paid out (and we know where part of that went) and the projects never went forward.

If someone can draw up an MOU league table, Godwin and Ẹdo state would lead by a country mile and his record would never be broke.

I don't think any Obidient is ready to move on from elections anytime soon, making wild unfounded allegations as to why Peter Obi came third is right at the centre of their being, without spouting them every so often, they might as well give up on life.

It is only resource control that can solve this problem. Some of these governors prefer the money they get from the FG like beggars.
