The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) has strongly rejected the proposed 0.5% cybersecurity levy on electronic transactions by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), describing it as extortion. The group believes the levy lacks compassion and empathy considering the current economic hardship faced by Nigerians. It further demands an explanation of stamp duty charges accrued in the past decade and suggests exploring alternative solutions

See how the government will listen to their demands or whatever you call it. The true Nigerians are protesting. Nigeria is working for them I'll tell you that for free. Even the police are scared to do anything in the protest.
