@segnad88 this is how U.I calculate their point for O'level and JAMB.
For O'level:
A1 - 6points
B2 - 5points
B3 - 4points
C4 - 3points
C5 - 2points
C6 - 1point
that is in ur 5 relevant subject
For JAMB:
Any thing u score divided by 10
so now add ur O'level points 2gether and times it by 2 anything u score plus it with u JAMB score that have been divided by ten. Then that shows u ur chances of qualifying 4 d post-ume.

@prof.em U are qualified to choose Mathematics with O'level result but try and choose U.I as ur first choice instead of 2nd choice and strive hard to score 240 upward in ur JAMB exam.

@prof.em yes u can choose U.I as ur 1st and 2nd choice if u like but I will advice u to choose U.I as ur 1st choice and choose another school as ur second choice (state uni) because in U.I if u have done the 1st pume u can't do for 2nd choice again.

@segnad88 it varies from each course and where did u get the JAMB score u calculate 2gether to give u 47.2. And mind u 47.2 is just too small to think of doing a good course in U.I and u can use it if only u want to study linguistic, French, Spanish, Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa but if want a good course it is advisable 4 u to register 4 another WAEC b4 it is too late. @Lheyhe i calculated t wit ma jamb score dis yr which s 272 since Abu hav not given me yet, i just combined two seatings of waec & got 57.2, m ganna work hard on ma jamb next yr, i think combining d two waec will do

@segnad88 combining two result for UI is not going to pay u it is better 4 u to register 4 another WAEC b4 it is too late.

@Dr king don't 4get that U.I is a federal school and not a state school so they don't consider indigene and even if they do it is low chance. Ur o'level result is ok but not for medicine and surgery, considering the fact that medicine and surgery is the highest course in the school this year with 80.8 as the cut-off u can choose it if u can score 300 upward in ur JAMB/UTME but it is advisable for u to choose pharmacy or physiology or any other related science course.

I am not here 2 discourage bv 2 share my experience.i wrote 2011 jamb scored 284 and i had b3 in phy,mat c4 in bio,chem c5 in eng.trying 2 study med and surg.i was not called for d first p.utme and i was asked 2 change my course.den i changed 2 vet.med ,finally i wasn't called again.now i am writing utme 4 d 3rd time.ui aspirant pls let ur o level be ful wit a and b.and a ii mark in utme.den u are ready 2 go to d first and d best uni in naija
