its nt yet known til ui releases it demselve afta d registration 4 p.utme. As of lst yr, it was changed from oral interview 2 written p.utme

since ui stil use 60-40 method. 4 ur waec,
A1-12
B2-10
B3-8
C4-6
C5-4
C6-2
D7-F9-0
ur jamb score divided by 10, den add up, u'll get ur weighted point.
For instance, a cand goin for pharmacy and havn A1 in eng, bio,maths, chem, phy, he scored 60% in his waec, and asuming he got 280 in jamb, he now has 28%. So his weighted point is (60+28) dats 88. Hope dis is clear!

I just wrote this 2012 Jamb and i scored 222. My course of study is ECONOMICS and i choose UI as first while UNIOSUN as my second choose. Below are my o'level grade. Pls help calculate my aggregate and what is ui and uniosun cut-off mark for Economics?

I chose ui as my frt choice n second 2 study law. My jamb score is 264 n my olevel grades are A1, B2,B3,B3,C6. Wat ar my chance of gettin admis in2 ui. Ply reply 4 God sake my heart is disturb or wat ur advice.

the cut of points for economics and law are 77 and 76.6 as of last session.
U b asking wats d reason 4 al dese high cut of points almost in al subject?. Jus no dat the general performance of last yr ui applicants were awesome. Imagine med surg(m.b.b.s) risin frm 74 in 2010 to 80.4 in 2011, law frm 69.1 in 2010 to 76.6 in 2011, petroleum engineering frm 73 in 2010 to 80.3 in 2011 and others. Frm dis analysis, jus hav hope and faith wit ur aggregate dat u wil ar among d best and wil b invited for d p.utme.

I want 2 guess dat due 2 d mass failure in d 2012 UTME d cut-off marks of various courses in UI dis year will fall drastically. Dis is because d abnormal rise in d cut-off marks last year was as a result of d awesome performance in last year's UTME where a countless number of candidates scored above 300. If anybody has a contrary opinion 2 what I've posted,u can simply say.

Lheyhe: @Kelvinprinzyy if u wish to choose po-science for 2011/2012 the cut - off is in between 65-69 and with ur o'level result u have 34 already (that is if u choose to do c.r.k in ur JAMB instead of litrature) and u must try and score nothing less that 310 - 350 to guarantee u 31 to 35 which is a slim chance so I will advice u to choose English lang or mass comm. or theatre art and score 260 upward.


Pls wat is the probability for me been choose for UI Post UTME i had B2 in LIterature, B3 in English, B3 in govt, C6 in Crk, c6 in Maths, C6 in Economics, and i choose LAW, pls wat is the probability?

at a time no time potenial uites u must start preparin 4 d post utme. D beauty abt ui is dat they treat all candadites equally. 1st or 2nd u are equal provided u ave good grades and pass d post utme well . i dont fink ui offers computer engineering but they have computer science.

He or she should use his or her jamb registration number which consists of 8 digits number and ending with 2 letters.
