Former Defence Minister, Lt.-Gen. Domkat Bali (retd.), has given reasons why he rejected the Commander of the Federal Republic award which was to be conferred on him by President Goodluck Jonathan.

He said the award amounted to an “insult” since he had a higher national honour. Bali, who is now the Paramount Ruler of the Langtang People, the Ponzhi Tarok, was also a chief of Defence Staff.
