I am so tempted not to type but that would be rude. Here is my formal response to this award:

I am really surprised I won and even voted for myself because I thought I would lose by a very wide margin. I have been in the business of trying to get people to do things online for over 2 years now and know how difficult it is to make a single individual click on a link, read an article, comment on a post and so on. Hence, I am extremely humbled that 23 people apart from me, took about 2 minutes of their time to vote for me even when the overwhelming majority do not know me out of this forum. I am saying a heartfelt Thank you and Godbless to each of you. You have no idea of how you have affected my life positively with your vote.

Myne White and Orikinla, what can I say? You guys are inspirations and have achieved things in Literature that I can only dream-of. Hence, I feel a little bit undeserving of this award for that reason. However, I must say that over the last 3-4 years, I have embraced writing and perhaps this is just a way of God telling me that I am not doing badly and can do better in this field.

As for everybody else, I say thank you for visiting the Literature section and sharing your thougths, ideas and works of literature.

A special mention for Mukina2, you probably believe in me more than I believe in myself- I can't reward you for that, only God can and will. I just want you to know I appreciate you very much.

This is a very nice thread,I think the vote speaks and the voters have been fair enough too.However,apart from this votes I think the nominees/contestants are very great writers.Myne has got a very blog and writes on many other platforms,She's also the author of many Bestselling Nigerian romance stories.Also, maclatunji has got 2 wonderful blogs,Orikinla also know what he's talking about the guys are just the best of their kind and an inspiration to us all!
