Naija is an amazing nation, where all sorts of things happen and all sorts of explanation how ever ridiculous it might be are offered? If Egbin supplies 1080MW why has'nt it been fixed all this new democratic years since 1999 and yet they keep pumping millions of dollars into Nepa. Wonders indeed will never end, certainly not in Nigeria.

Egbin power station is not FG Wilson generator. It is a power plant. Those that manufactured, installed and commissioned it should be running it. Call them and broker a deal. Supply us electricity and we will pay you at a price we mutually agree to. Simple. How many of the staff complaining were there thirty or forty years ago when the plant was commissioned. Government has no business buying generators, generating electricity or selling metres. This problem will recur until those whose business it is to design, fabricate and operate these plants are in charge, period.

How can our leaders do good things. Gadaffi made his people enjoyed very well to the extent that they became intoxicated and turned against him. Our leaders believe if we enjoyed more than this we may know our rights and rebel against them. So the tactic to keep us in perpetual darkness.

Egbin was built by Hitachi of Japan and they asked for right of first refusal if the FG ever wanted to sell, but during OBJ time he sold it to a korean firm and Hitachi were pissed of and they are no longer coming back,
When they are issues like this, they are usually called to fix it but now who knows

I wonder o. When will w̶̲̥̅ξ be out of this mess? Common electricity suffering the S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ called giant of Africa where billions are looted on daily basis. Can't govt invite private power companies ( be it foreign or local) on BOT basis. W̶̲̥̅ξ have more of natural gas than oil to run this power plants, coal is there in Enugu. Erratic power supply has killed industries, discourage foreign investors to come over and pursue som of †ђξ ones that were here. And w̶̲̥̅ξ keep aspiring for mission 20:20:2020. Is this ЂΦw w̶̲̥̅ξ will get there. I cry for this nation coz I luv her even ΐ̲̅ƒ̲̅ she doesn't luv me in return.
