A police Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in charge of Force Investigation Department,Mr. Ganiyu Dawodu was found dead in his hotel room just before a meeting. The meeting was thereby cancelled. According to IGP, Ringim , Mr. Dawodu died on Thursday while representing the IGP on an official assignment in Lagos. While in Lagos, he was in the company of some friends when they visited another friend in his hotel room.
