The new wave of talent like Ben Simmons and other rookies are now modelling their game after LeBron and perhaps in 15 years or so, we'd have a Ben Simmons vs LeBron debate if he can improve his skill set, learn to shoot and live up to the hype because right now he's more like magic.

Ben Simmons lacks range but the important thing for me is that he is very efficient and plays to his strengths. He can always improve on his range as time goes on. A semi-rookie with a 50% FG is on the right track

I think consideration must be made for the eras where Kobe and MJ played and if they look similar then duhh they play the same position. There is nothing Lebron is doing that Kobe and MJ couldn't truth be told. Lebron's edge is mainly his size and the fact that today's game requires more positional fluidity
