The group Boko Haram hid under the umbrella of Islam for two reasons only; to have government thread softly when tackling their issue so that it doesn't seem like a total crackdown on Muslims as well as get empathy, sympathy and support from Southern Muslims (so they thought).

Boko Haram is a political group and are only on a revenge mission on this present government for the following reason; when late Yaradua (Northerner) was in Power, MEND (south) held the entire economic and political activities to a standstill. Now believing its time to pay back, GEJ (a southerner) his government is being terrorized by Boko Haram (North).

Fellow Nigerians let's leave ethnic and religious differences aside and fight the common enemy. Are we aware some few are benefiting immensely from this unrest? A whooping N922billion is being budgeted for Security vote next year, can they give us an idea of what that money will be channeled into to safeguard lives and properties. Because other past monies have all gone down the drain without being accounted for.

Why should head of Security Agencies still be left in office, rather than fire them after they have not been able to bring an end to this violent acts all around the North, even with the abundance of logistics and resources at their disposal.

N240million is being budgeted for the bullet proof vehicles of the President and his Vice alone.

A country where the 51st Independence anniversary was done within ASO ROCk instead of the traditional venue (EAGLE SQUARE) for fear of being attacked, have proven we masses are only at the mercy of God and not the government as they have clearly shown us they are concerned about their safety only.
