'The Nigerian Peter Crouch’ has two days to earn a £1million move to Stoke.

Potters boss Tony Pulis has taken striker Michael Uchebo (left) on trial, with a view to completing a deal with Dutch club VVV-Venlo this month.

Uchebo, who stands at 6ft 8in - an inch taller than Crouch - and has been compared to Stoke and England frontman Crouch, trained with the Potters on Monday.

The 21-year-old will be out of contract in the summer and Pulis is weighing up a bid to bring him to the Premier League.

He didn't impress during the trials. they are not going to sign him.
