This pple are actually taking us for a ride with these nonsense argument.

Argument 1: smuggling

For God's sake why do we have customs and police to check and safe guard our boarders?

If they cant cub smuggling, then they are no longer needed at our boarders.

The argument here is that since fuel is sold higher in neighbouring country, smuggling will have to take place to g sell where they'll make more profit.

Whats the duty of the security agents?

Isn't this an indictment on the level of insecurity in our country?

does this no mean that arms and ammunition can easily find their ways through our boarders?

Where kill a headache by cutting the head?

THE ARGUMENT HERE CAN BE LIKENED TO CASE OF CHILD TRAFFICKING. SINCE TRAFFICKING IS CAUSED BY CHILD THAT ARE BEING GIVEN BIRTH TO, HENCE THE GOVT BANS PREGNANCY IN ORDER TO PREVENT CHILD TRAFFICKING.

Does this make any sense?

Argument 2: Money from subsidy would be saved.

Pls can Nigerians tell us what money would be saved when over 1trillion naira that is yet to be saved has be shared amongst the 3 tiers of govt?

Argument 3: Borrowings will be avoided.

Does it mean that the 1.3trillion naira that has already been shared in principle would also be borrowed since according to them it was borrowed in 2011?

If this is the case, why incur same debt u claimed u dont want to incur?

These arguments are illogical and obviously these criminals are acting a script

Once again, I'm saying it, Jonathan has to handle this very carefully.

I went out this morning to gauge the mood of the people and I must say that they are informed, angry, and resolute. In a situation like this, you only hope that the struggle does not get hijacked by those who are willing to provide the remaining ingredient of a revolution.

This is no longer about the economics of the subsidy but about social/political stability.
