The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has suspended a commissioner of Police (CP), Zakari Biu following the escape of a high-profile suspect from police custody. The suspect is a Boko Haram member named Kabiru Sokoto had escaped from prison custody three after he was arrested at the Borno Governor’s Lodge in Abuja. Kabiru Sokoto is believed to have been the brain behind the Christmas Day bombing of St.Theresa Catholic Church in Madalla, Niger State which left over 40 persons dead.
