off mark
The cut off mark
for the 2012
Unified Tertiary
Matriculation
Examination has
been placed at 180, by the Joint
Admissions and Matriculation
Board on Monday.
For national polytechnics,
colleges of education and other
diploma-awarding institutions
JAMB put the cut off at 160.
The announcement kick-starts
the admission process into
higher institutions.
Minister of Education, Prof.
Ruqayyatu Rufa'i, who chaired
the meeting where the cut off
marks were determined,
appealed to the various
institutions to adhere strictly to
admission guidelines.
The minister added that the
insitution must each observe
"the admission criteria based on
merit, catchment area and
educationally less-developed
states in accordance with the
Federal Government's
guidelines."

Good one here but there will surely be sentiments on those that score below 200 in most Universities except if they can prepare to showcase on the merit list of you know people in charge ................................

On buying the form, they gave me their past question to read...it contained o'level questions....infact non came out from the past questions.....read your jamb syllabus but apart from past questions, its still advisable to get any reading material thats available....thats why i made use of that phrase...."overdue attention to past questions"

yes u can d sch has dat course in their okuku campus and it ten mintes drive from where i stay and d jamb combinations is eng,govt,lit in eng and christian studies ,others that know beta should pls contribute.

I didnt write literature in my jamb,even i had d7 in literature in my o'level,is there any hope?

sammytobby18: The osun state university is a six campus university with main campus situated in osogbo.The admission into these role model institution takes a combination of both academic excellence,your state of origin and who you know. If the only quality you have is academic excellence then you have got to start reading if truely you want admission. Before last year uniosun post jamb always take the form of interview but as a result of high applicant the school resolved to examination on use of english so work on your english.

Hmmm! !!UNIOSUN doesn't rely testing applicants with English only but current affair,verbal reasoning questions and simple and normal mathematics and mind you,you might be tested on your UTME subjects this time around........
