I thought SE did not participate in the subsidy protests. Can't these organizers do anything right? Nonsense.

The Ikemba Nnewi, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, who died in a London hospital late last year, will be buried on March 1, 2012. His burial was earlier scheduled for February 3.

The burial committee set up by Ohanaeze and other interest groups and headed by Professor A.B.C Nwosu announced this change in date yesterday.

While expressing regret over the change in date, the committee said that it was as a result of the protest and strike by organised labour and civil society groups over the withdrawal of subsidy on fuel which it said impacted negatively on earlier arrangement.

It said, however, that the change in date would not affect the elaborate arrangement put in place to give the Eze Igbo Gburugburu a befitting burial.

But what joy and happiness are you guys deriving from abusing a dead man, it doesnt worth it, we should learn to be reasonable rather than seeking for attention at the expense of even dead men, for you guys that hates online, i think its not just necessary insulting a dead man whom most people see as their hero, remember someday we all gonna die and what remains of us is what people will talk about, lets be wise atleast sometimes in condemnation, no one is perfect, cheers

@Bluetooth, be reasonable atleast for once, you aint really gaining anything from your contribution here, the past is past but i believe what he fought for years ago is still what we all are clamouring for, now everyone in nigeria wants a break out, the would have let them go when they needed the republic and who knows there wouldnt be a zoo called Nigeria, rest your case on abusing a man probably you havent met, if Ojukwu appears to you right now, i bet youll be the first person to go on your knees and beg him, stop using the internet to seek for someone to join you in your ill statements about people, be wise , and stop picking up an online fight, be good

"Wailing and sobbing Ndigbo mourners beat their chests and dropped to their knees as the hearse carrying the body of the former Secessionist  Leader of the short lived Republic of Biafra and Igbo Tribal War Lord Dim Ikemba Nnewi Chukuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu crawled through the streets of Enugu . The coffin  draped with the tricholor of red black and green charged with the golden rising sun of the Biafran flag was flwn in from Oxford , where the Biafran adventure was born in the late 1950s with the support of Ojukwu's bosom friend Fredrick Forsyth. The one kilometre long procession slowly made its way to Emeka's final resting place at okija sacred forest." ,

So the funeral has taken place already ?
