Has senegal run out of brillant leaders that can oppose this man? Why would they throw up a music icon? Even at that, why would a 85yrs old man seek elective office again? if he loves his country that much why not resign and act as an adviser. I suggest they send him indian prostitute with apples to eat, so he ends up like Gen Abacha.

the peoples of Senegal should allow WADE to continue because the man is doing a great job for his country, they don't have any resource yet almost all the road is tied, steady power supply and water, free education from nursery to primary nation wide.

SO PATHETIC!!!
Anyway, the old man knows he was going to be totally flawed at the polls by youssou N'dour.

Why are African Leaders so Power Drunk? Yet they done even serve their people 1%. All they are interested in is the Treasury of the country and nothing else.
I see most African Countries (including Nigeria) returning to Military rule or them further splitting up. 'Cus a situation where the so called Democratic Leaders are now even worse the the military dictators it is such a big shock.

Black man with black mentality. Believing everything should be gotten through deceit, force and threats.

Believe it or not this is exactly what GEJ was attempting the moment he smuggled himself into power a few months ago.

First he visited two of the world's most despicable and vicious despots that have summarily implanted themselves in power for life over the objection of their people: Youweri Musevini (Uganda) and Paul Biya (Cameroon)----- those were your President's first official trips as Head of Nigeria, for those of you still doubting that GEJ is nothing but a dictator in the making.

Then he arrived in Abuja and within days he decided to request a 6-7yr tenure even though he was less than 3 weeks into his term. THESE WERE THE SAME EXACT TACTICS MUSEVINI AND BIYA USED TO ENTRENCH THEMSELVES IN POWER.

Do not for one second think GEJ is still not plotting how to stay in power as Nigeria's Life President.

Let me make a prediction: If GEJ provides efficient electricity, he'll think he deserves to be Nigeria's first Life President, and he'll do whatever it takes to achieve that.

Trust me people they can't remember jack.
GEJ mentioned that 6-7years single term rule while he was still 'acting president' way befor the election.
But who forgets more than the Nigerian?
