50 Questions Christians Cannot Answer! by Sweatshirt: 11:08pm On Feb 01, 2012
1. If God is omnipotent (all-powerful), why did he take six days to create everything? Why not speak everything into existence all at once?

2. Why won't God heal amputees?

3. If God is so perfect, then why did he create something so imperfect allowing pain, suffering and daily atrocities?

4. Why did the little old lady that God healed one Sunday need her walker to get around again next Sunday? Was
she only temporarily worthy of a healing?

5. How did Noah fit the millions and millions of species on this planet into his ark?

6. If Noah did fit all of these species on the ark for forty days and forty nights, how did the penguins make it from Mt. Ararat to the Antarctic? How did the koala bears make it to Australia with no eucalyptus to eat along the way?

7. Why do innocent children have to suffer with terminal diseases such as cancer? What part of 'God's plan' is this exactly?

8. How is it that the bible explains the earth to be 6,000 to 8,000 years old when we know that dinosaur bones are at least 65 million years old? The 'missing link' fossil 'Ida' found recently is estimated to be at least 47 million years old.

9. Why can't the all-powerful God not forgive someone of their sins after they die? Example: A christian man that is seemingly on God's good list makes a silly decision and decides to drink a little too much at the fish fry. On his way home he crashes into a mini-van killing a mother and her two children and himself. This man led a very faithful life and made one silly, yet grave mistake. If this man did not ask for forgiveness of his sins before the electrical activity in his brain ceased, then God will judge him and send him to hell to burn for eternity.

10. God wants everyone to worship and follow him and if they don't, they burn in hell for all eternity. What does this type of attitude say about his character? By definition, he would be described as a tyrant.

11. If Jesus died on the cross and spent three days in hell to pay for the sins of the world, then why would we have to go to hell ourselves and pay for them again? God is then, in essence, being paid for our sins twice. With that said, was Jesus' sacrifice not worthy enough? If that is the case, why should we care that he died for our sins if his sacrifice means nothing at all?

12. If God wants us all to follow and worship him, why didn't he create us as such? *Your expected answer will be addressed in the next question.

13. What good is it for us to have free will if the intention is for us to not use it? Sure, we can use our free will, but we will burn in hell for eternity if we do. Russian roulette, anybody? It sounds like a set-up to me.

14. In the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, why would God kill Lot's wife, Sarah, by turning her into a pillar of salt for simply looking in the wrong direction? *Warning of impending sarcasm.* God is a merciful God, right.

15. What purpose does hell serve? If it is punishment for sinful actions, shouldn't it be used for correctional purposes? Seeing as though you burn forever, you will never get out of hell to show that you have learned your lesson. Would it make since to live a faithful Christian life glorifying the Lord and to accidentally sin by saying a curse word the instant you smash your car into the back of a tractor-trailer, thereby being condemned to burn in hell forever?

16. We know that we feel physical feelings through electrical impulses that send information to our brains through our nervous system. Once we die, we no longer feel pain due to the lack of a physical nervous system and, oh yeah, a brain. How could we 'feel' the excruciating flames of hell for eternity? Does God make you feel this torment for all eternity out of pure malice because you wouldn't worship him?

17. If God is omnipotent, why does he not just show himself to all of us, all at once, thereby ending this game of free will and temptation?

18. If God is perfect and his creations perfect, why did he fail several times? He had to impose suffering upon the human race because Adam and Eve defied him by eating of the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Failed! He had to flood the planet 1,600 years later wiping out all but eight humans. Failure! He had to confuse human language after Nimrod and the Tower of Babel incident so that they could not effectively communicate with each other. Failure! How is this a track record of a perfect being?

19. If, in the beginning, there was only God and he created everything, why would he create angels that had the propensity to defy him? This very fallacy led to Lucifer challenging his authority because he desired to share the same power as God. This led to the rise, or fall depending on how you look at it, of Satan, the most notorious enemy of God and his followers. Failed, again!

20. Why would you trust 'God's plan' given his track record of many failures?

21. A disciple of Christ, Thomas, was a skeptic. He walked with Jesus during his time on earth and physically witnessed with his own eyes certain miracles performed by him such as raising Lazarus from the dead and so forth. However, after the crucifixion, Jesus supposedly rose three days later. Thomas did not believe it was truly him despite being told, prior to the incident by Jesus, that he would rise again in three days. Thomas required physical proof. Jesus allowed him to touch him and feel the wounds in his body to offer proof. Why doesn't god extend the same proof to humans alive today? Those that doubt his existence are no different than Thomas, requiring physical proof and he was a disciple of Jesus himself. If Thomas had been born one generation later, or even living today, he would have burned in hell for all eternity because he would not believe for the lack of physical proof. Paul was born after the death and ascension of Christ. Throughout his life, he did not believe that Jesus was the son of God and even went out of his way to persecute Christians thinking that their religion was a dangerous belief system to practice. Lo and behold a flash of light came out of the sky and Jesus Christ himself appeared to Paul explaining to him that he is actually the one true god. Jesus told him that he was persecuting the followers of the only true faith. From that point on, Paul was a converted Christian. Again, if God was willing to go out of his way to physically prove to Paul that he actually exists, why is this not done today? Why isn't God willing to show those that doubt today the same degree of physical proof? Why should we be any different than Thomas and Paul?

22. Christians argue evolution by asking why there aren't any half-ape half-men walking around today, right? Why don't we see giants, fiery talking serpents, talking donkeys and many other mythical creatures that are described in the Bible?

23. If we are to only Be Intimate for the purpose of pro-creation, and to do so outside of the scope of pro-creation is sinful, then why would God create us with an over abundance of nerve endings in our reproductive organs making sex extremely pleasurable? It sounds like yet another set-up.

23. Why do Christians share the same statistical rate of divorce as everyone else? "What God hath made, let no man put asunder." How could Christian marriages fail if they are sanctified by God? Hmmmm,  interesting.

24. In the book of Luke chapter 19 verse 27, Jesus says, "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me." This seems pretty clear that Jesus would have Christians kill all non-believers. How do you explain this?

25. If God created everything, why did he create AIDS, influenza, ebola, ecoli and so on and so on? These, as viruses, are living things. You definitely can not use the free will card for this one. Is this another part of 'God's plan'?

I would request that you are open-minded as i try to provide responses based on Muslim's belief God-willing.

1. A key point to make in answering this question is to highlight that ‘Omnipotence’ is misconstrued as ‘all powerful’. What omnipotence really implies is the ability to actualise every affair, rather than raw power. Another way of looking at this is that since God is all powerful it means that He will always be able to do what He wills, “and every affair is effortless for Him.”

The Quran states:

Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, and is firmly established on the throne [of authority],  (Q7:59)

Allah (God) clearly calls himself, the evolver in the Quran,

He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms [or Colours]. To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (Q59:24)

So what do we have now? A God who has the ability to actualize every affair and who also calls himself the evolver and the creator. Meaning he has the choice to create instantly or to bring things into existence gradually.

These are half of the questions. Does any Christian care to answer these questions?

These questions deal with the problem of evil:

Muslims do not only believe that God is just good and omnipotent. Muslims believe that part of God’s names and attributes include ‘the Just’, ‘the Severe in Punishment’, ‘the Wise’, ‘the Avenger’, and ‘the Compassionate’, amongst many others. We do not reduce God to parts, rather God is seen as one and unique in context of all his names and attributes. So if God was just good and omnipotent, then there may be problem in reconciling suffering and evil in the world. However if you include attributes such as ‘the Severe in Punishment’ and ‘the Wise’, these problems would not exist. Because perceived evil and suffering in the world can be due to

1. God’s punishment as a result of our sins and bad actions.

2. God’s wisdom, as there may be divine wisdom in permitting evil and suffering. Even if we can’t evaluate what the wisdom is, it doesn’t mean it is not there. To argue such a thing would be a logical fallacy, known as the argument from ignorance

For example: The story of Khidr which can be found in the 18th chapter of Qur’an from verses 60 to 82 is an eloquent account of how God’s wisdom, whether understood or not, has positive results and benefits for humanity.

Muslim can argue that the problem of evil is logically posterior to the existence of God. You need to establish that God exists first before attempting to reconcile who God is with our perception of reality, in this case, evil and suffering.

The word ‘good’ has a meaning that relates to human experience, whereas in Islamic theology ‘good’ as an attribute of God is primarily viewed as a unique attribute that can be appreciated but not fully comprehended due to his uniqueness and transcendental nature. Your premises are false due to your incorrect assumption that ‘good’ in the context of God is related to a human understanding of good.

God has justified reasons to permit suffering and evil in the world. The intellectual richness of Islamic Theology provides us with many reasons, some of which include:

1. The primary purpose of the human being is not happiness rather it is to know and worship God. This fulfillment of the divine purpose will result in everlasting bliss and happiness. So if this is our primary purpose other aspects of human experience our secondary. The Qur’an, the book of the Muslims states: “I did not create either jinn or man except to worship Me.”

2. . God also created us for a test, and part of this test is to be tested with suffering and evil. The Qur’an mentions “The One Who created death and life, so that He may put you to test, to find out which of you is best in deeds: He is the all-Almighty, the all-Forgiving”

3. Having hardship and suffering enables us to realise and know God’s attributes such as ‘the Victorious’ and ‘the Healer’. For example without the pain and suffering of illness we would not appreciate the attribute of God being ‘the Healer’. Knowing God is a greater good, and worth the experience of suffering or pain as it will mean the fulfillment of our primary purpose.

4. People can also suffer from past, present or future sins. God has knowledge of everything which is not contingent on time. Please refer to the story of Khidr in the Qur’an where it mentions Khidr’s reply to Prophet Moses “All this was done as a mercy from your Lord. What I did was not done by my own will. That is the interpretation of those actions which you could not bear to watch with patience."

5. God has given us free will, and free will includes choosing evil acts.

In Islamic Theology, the Noah's flood was not a global flood but a local flood. It was a flood that affected only Noah and his people. Therefore, only those in the area where Noah lived were able to get on the Ark.

Surah 7
59 We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful day!
60. The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering [in mind]."
61. He said: "O my people! No wandering is there in my [mind]: on the contrary I am a messenger from the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds!
62. "I but fulfil towards you the duties of my Lord's mission: Sincere is my advice to you, and I know from Allah something that ye know not.
63. "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?"
64. But they rejected him, and We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark: but We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people!

In islamic theology, the earth existed for a long time before the creation of Man.

Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth."They said: "Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed
blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy [name]?" He said: "I know what ye know not." (Quran 2:30)

Before then, we know creatures existed on the earth before the creation of Man including Jinns(Spirits).

The exact age of the earth is however not deducible from the Quran.

As Muslims, we believe that all sins can be forgiven and that people make paradise only by the mercy of God.

Only one sin will not be forgiven at the death of an Individual, and that is associating partners with God.

In Life, all sins can be forgiven
In death, only one sin will not be forgiven if someone dies on it.

Surely Allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with Him, and forgives what is besides that to whomsoever He pleases; and whoever associates anything with Allah, he devises indeed a great sin. (Surah Nisaa, verse 48)

Allah says “If you shun the most heinous sins which you are forbidden, We will do away with your small sins and admit you to a gate of great honor.” [Sûrah al-Nisâ’: 31]

Allah says: “Say: O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [Sûrah al-Zumar: 53]

Not only are you forgiven on repentance, your evil deeds are transformed to good deeds,

Allah says: “Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful,” [Sûrah al-Furqân: 70]

10. God wants everyone to worship and follow him and if they don't, they burn in hell for all eternity. What does this type of attitude say about his character? By definition, he would be described as a tyrant.

This statement fails to take into consideration a few things.

On our side, We were created to worship God:

Surah 51
56. I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me.
57. No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me.
58. For Allah is He Who gives [all] Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast [for ever].

Allah says in the Quran he is of no need of your punishment:

"What would Allah do with your punishment if you are grateful and believe? And ever is Allah Appreciative and Knowing."(4:147)

On the path  of God, He created us to show us mercy:

Surah 11:
118. If thy Lord had so willed, He could have made mankind one people: but they will not cease to dispute.
119.Except those on whom thy Lord hath bestowed His Mercy: and for this did He create them: and the Word of thy Lord shall be fulfilled: "I will fill Hell with jinns and men all together."

He also created us with an innate disposition to him.  The prophet said:

‘Every new-born child is born in a state of fitrah. Then his parents make him a Jew, a Christian or a Magian, just as an animal is born intact. Do you observe any among them that are maimed (at birth)?"

Fitnah refers to an innate natural disposition which cannot change, and which exists at birth in all human beings. However, depending on the environment which we grow, we become  atheists, Jews or  Christians. This natural disposition includes a belief in a supreme creator. The Quran states:

‘Set your face to the faith in sincerity which is Allah's fitrah (the nature made by Allah) upon which He created mankind (fatâra’n-nâs). There is no changing the creation of Allah. That is the right faith but most people know not.’ (Surah 30:30)

Humans have the natural disposition to worship a supreme being, it is something built into us. This is part of the mercy of God.

Relationships are all about exchange; they are about what we give and what we take. Our parents give us shelter, food, love, care, attention, they instill in us morals and teach us what they believe. In return, from having us they receive the joy of having a child that is their own, they see our smiling faces as babies and couldn’t feel happier, when we are older we return their love and care as best we can and try in turn to look after them. We give each other advice and support, good company and conversation, a sense of belonging and security. The relationship, like all others, is based on giving and receiving and although at first glance that hints at a materialist way of looking at things, it encompasses the emotional, spiritual, and mental aspects of a relationship too.

Sadly when it comes to the relationship we have with Allah(swt) many of us happily receive but never give in return. There are those who are so deeply in disbelief that they do not even acknowledge everything they receive from the Creator or indeed acknowledge the Creator at all and instead attribute it to chance or themselves or other human beings.

There are those of us who acknowledge Allah(swt) yet still do not cultivate our relationship with Him by giving instead of only constantly receiving.

Our ingratitude to God inspite of great mercies he shows to us every day is what makes us liable for punishment  and eligible for Hell. But God is in no need of your punishment.

Muslims do not believe that Jesus was crucified.

The Quran states about the crucifiction.

Surah 4

157. That they said [in boast], "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was
made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no [certain] knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed
him not:-
158. Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;-

The Quran also says about Jesus:

Surah 3
52. When Jesus found Unbelief on their part He said: "Who will be My helpers to [the work of] Allah?" Said the disciples: "We are Allah's helpers: We believe in
Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims (those who submit).
53. "Our Lord! we believe in what Thou hast revealed, and we follow theMessenger; then write us down among those who bear witness."
54. And [the unbelievers] plotted and planned, and Allah too planned, and thebest of planners is Allah.
55. Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee [of the falsehoods] of those who blaspheme; I will make those who
follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein
ye dispute.

We were created for worship as the Quran states,

Surah 51
56. I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me.

But this world is also a test, like the Quran states:

Surah18
7. That which is on earth we have made but as a glittering show for the earth, in order that We may test them - as to which of them are best in conduct.

So removing free-will defeats the purpose of a test.

Every one who goes to hell will know he deserves to be there: It is clear from the Qur’aan that Allaah does not punish anyone except after warning.

He says (interpretation of the meaning):

“… And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning).” [al-Israa’ 17:15].

“Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: ‘Did no warner come to you?’

They will say: ‘Yes, indeed a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: “‘Allaah never sent down anything (of Revelation)”’”

[al-Mulk 67:8]

God has created you with free-will and an innate disposition of his existence. He gives you free-will and sends warners to you, If you are arrogant and you reject then you have only yourself to blame.

14. In the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, why would God kill Lot's wife, Sarah, by turning her into a pillar of salt for simply looking in the wrong direction? *Warning of impending sarcasm.* God is a merciful God, right.

The Muslim account of this is different.

According to Islamic sources, Lot's wife stayed behind in the city and was consumed by the calamity that befell it.

Surah 26

160. The people of Lut rejected the messengers.
161. Behold, their brother Lut said to them: "Will ye not fear [Allah]?
162. "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust.
163. "So fear Allah and obey me.
164. "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds.
165. "Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males,
166. "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing [all limits]!"
167. They said: "If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!"
168. He said: "I do detest your doings."
169. "O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!"
170. So We delivered him and his family,- all
171. Except an old woman who lingered behind.
172. But the rest We destroyed utterly.

Surah 27
57. But We saved him and his family, except his wife; her We destined to be of those who lagged behind.

Allah promises us that he will not be unjust:

Surah 22
7. And verily the Hour will come: there can be no doubt about it, or about [the fact] that Allah will raise up all who are in the graves.
8. Yet there is among men such a one as disputes about Allah, without Knowledge, without Guidance, and without a Book of Enlightenment,-
9. [Disdainfully] bending his side, in order to lead [men] astray from the Path of Allah: for him there is disgrace in this life, and on the Day of Judgment We
shall make him taste the Penalty of burning [Fire].
10. [It will be said]: "This is because of the deeds which thy hands sent forth, for verily Allah is not unjust to His servants.

Allah states that mankind did accept the responsibility and therefore the punishment.

Surah 33
72. We did indeed offer the Trust (Al-Amanah) to the Heavens and the Earth and the Mountains; but they refused to undertake it, being afraid thereof: but man
undertook it;- He was indeed unjust and foolish;-
73. [With the result] that Allah has to punish the Hypocrites, men and women, and the disbelievers, men and women, and Allah turns in Mercy to the Believers,
men and women: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Ibn `Abbas said, "Al-Amanah means obedience. This was offered to them before it was offered to Adam, and they could not bear it. Then Allah said to Adam: `I have offered the Amanah to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they could not bear it. Will you take it on' He said, `O Lord, what does it involve' He said, `If you do good, you will be rewarded, and if you do evil, you will be punished.' So Adam took the Amanah and bore it, and this is what is referred to in the Ayah.

So mankind accepted the trust  and therefore accepted the responsibility that came with it. Bliss in the case of obedience, Punishment in the case of disobedience.

God shows his mercy however in so many ways in the case of mitigating circumstances: God says in the Quran:

6:160 He that doeth good shall have ten times as much to his credit: He that doeth evil shall only be recompensed according to his evil: no wrong shall be
done unto [any of] them.

So every good deed we do is multiplied by 10 and our evil actions only get 1, according to the deed.

He promises that we will rewarded according to the best of our deeds:

Surah 29
7. Those who believe and work righteous deeds,- from them shall We blot out all evil [that may be] in them, and We shall reward them according to the best of their deeds.

In other traditions, we have stories where a P.rostitute was forgiven all sins because she gave water to a thirsty dog.

In addition to all these, We are sent warners and revelations,

“… And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning).” [al-Israa’ 17:15].

We are not Independent creatures, Only the most defiantly disobedient are promised hell,

If one claims Hell is unjust, he must also accept that Paradise/eternal bliss is also unjust.

We will be held accountable for the adherence to our purpose given two sensations we understand: Pain and plea.sure:

The Muslims tradition say that anyone with an atom weight of belief in his heart will be taken out of hell after punishment and only the most defiant will remain there.

We do not face this problem as muslims as the Quran clearly says, we will be resurrected as new creations:
Surah 75
1. I do call to witness the Resurrection Day;
2. And I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit: [Eschew Evil].
3. Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones?
4. Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers.
5. But man wishes to do wrong [even] in the time in front of him.

Surah 17
49. They say: "What! when we are reduced to bones and dust, should we really be raised up [to be] a new creation?"
50. Say: "[Nay!] be ye stones or iron,
51. "Or created matter which, in your minds, is hardest [to be raised up],- [Yet shall ye be raised up]!" then will they say: "Who will cause us to return?" Say:
"He who created you first!" Then will they wag their heads towards thee, and say, "When will that be?" Say, "May be it will be quite soon!

These are half of the questions. Does any Christian care to answer these questions?

God is perfect but his creation isn't .

Muslims do not believe in the concept of Original Sin or the concept that the sins of Adam and Eve are responsible for the suffering of the world.

In Islam,

1. Man was created for the earth.

Surah 2:30
Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth."They said: "Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed
blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy [name]?" He said: "I know what ye know not."

2. Man was created with an intellect.

Surah 2
31. And He taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the angels, and said: "Tell me the names of these if ye are right."

3. The garden was a period of preparation for man eventual destination "earth".

Surah 2
35. We said: "O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden; and eat of the bountiful things therein as [where and when] ye will; but approach not this
tree, or ye run into harm and transgression."

4. Eating the apple was just a slip by adam/eve not the greatest sin in the history of the world. It signified their ability to make independent decisions and signaled their readiness for earth.

Surah 2
36. Then did Satan make them slip from the [garden], and get them out of the state [of felicity] in which they had been. We said: "Get ye down, all [ye
people], with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood - for a time."

5. They sought forgiveness and were duely forgiven.

Surah 2
37. Then learnt Adam from his Lord words of inspiration, and his Lord Turned towards him; for He is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful

Flooding the earth is not a muslim belief (Noah's flood was a local flood)

Man is imperfect and will make mistakes.

If he comes back to his lord, he will be forgiven,

These are half of the questions. Does any Christian care to answer these questions?

In Islam, satan was not an angel. He is a Jinn(spirit).

He is an enemy to man but just a disobedient slave to God.

And (remember) when We said unto the angels: "Fall prostrate before Adam", and they fell prostrate, all save Satan. He was of the jinn, so he rebelled against his Lord's command. Will you choose him and his progeny for your protecting friends instead of Me, when they are an enemy unto you? Calamitous is the exchange for evil-doers. (Surah 18:50)

Sûrah al-A`râf (7): verses 10-12 reads:

And We created you, then fashioned you, then told the angels: "Fall prostrate before Adam!" And they fell prostrate, all save Satan, who was not of those who make prostration.

(Allah) said: "What hindered you so that you did not prostrate when I commanded you?"

He said: "I am better than him: You had created me of fire, while him You created from clay."

[ Allah ] said, “Descend from Paradise, for it is not for you to be arrogant therein. So get out; indeed, you are of the debased.”

Satan arrogance caused him to declare enmity against Adam.

Surah 35
6. Verily Satan is an enemy to you: so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his adherents, that they may become Companions of the Blazing Fire.

Satan is only a creation of God, he can't aspire to have the powers of God.

Surah 15

33. [Iblis] said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didstcreate from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape."
34. [Allah] said: "Then get thee out from here; for thou art rejected, accursed.
35. "And the curse shall be on thee till the day of Judgment."
36. [Iblis] said: "O my Lord! give me then respite till the Day the [dead] are raised."
37. [Allah] said: "Respite is granted thee
38. "Till the Day of the Time appointed."
39. [Iblis] said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make [wrong] fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the
wrong,-
40. "Except Thy servants among them, sincere and purified [by Thy Grace]."
41. [Allah] said: "This [way of My sincere servants] is indeed a way that leads straight to Me.
42. "For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee."
43. And verily, Hell is the promised abode for them all

20. God has never failed.

The Quran states:
Surah 2:80
And they say: "The Fire shall not touch us but for a few numbered days:" Say: "Have ye taken a promise from Allah, for He never breaks His promise? or is it that ye say of Allah what ye do not know?"

Surah 2
256. Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.

22. Christians argue evolution by asking why there aren't any half-ape half-men walking around today, right? Why don't we see giants, fiery talking serpents, talking donkeys and many other mythical creatures that are described in the Bible?

Muslims do not subscribe to the evolution story the way it is presented today. It is a good attempt to explain existence but it has too many holes.

We do believe however that creatures have evolved over time. The description of Adam in the traditions show that he was much bigger than the average man today. So overtime, Man has changed. But the transformation from one species to another is what is not accepted.

The Quran states:

24. He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms [or Colours]. To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth,
doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise

The Quran also states:

45. And Allah has created every animal from water: of them there are some that creep on their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four.Allah creates what He wills for verily Allah has power over all things.

We know what determines the existence of life anywhere is water.

23. Why do Christians share the same statistical rate of divorce as everyone else? "What God hath made, let no man put asunder." How could Christian marriages fail if they are sanctified by God? Hmmmm,  interesting.

Read more: http://www.bukisa.com/articles/107211_top-50-questions-christians-cant-answer#ixzz1lAbwBe8H

These are half of the questions. Does any Christian care to answer these questions?

Humans are imperfect and divorces will happen.

Marriage in Islam is a sanctified bond that should not be broken except for compelling reasons. Couples are instructed to pursue all possible remedies whenever their marriages are in danger. Divorce is not to be resorted to except when there is no other way out.

In a nutshell, Islam recognizes divorce, yet it discourages it by all means.  Islam does recognize the right of both partners to end their matrimonial relationship.

The Prophet of Islam told the believers that:

"among all the permitted acts, divorce is the most hateful to God" (Abu Dawood).

A Muslim man should not divorce his wife just because he dislikes her. The Quran instructs Muslim men to be kind to their wives even in cases of lukewarm emotions or feelings of dislike:

"Live with them (your wives) on a footing of kindness and equity. If you dislike them it may be that you dislike something in which Allah has placed a great deal of good" (Quran 4:19).

Prophet Muhammad gave a similar instruction:

" A believing man must not hate a believing woman. If he dislikes one of her traits he will be pleased with another" (Muslim).

The Prophet has also emphasized that the best Muslims are those who are best to their wives:

"The believers who show the most perfect faith are those who have the best character and the best of you are those who are best to their wives" (Tirmidthi).

Islam is a practical religion and it does recognize that there are circumstances in which a marriage becomes on the verge of collapsing. In such cases, a mere advice of kindness or self restraint is no viable solution. So, what to do in order to save a marriage in these cases? The Quran offers some practical advice for the spouse (husband or wife) whose partner (wife or husband) is the wrongdoer.

For the husband whose wife's ill-conduct is threatening the marriage, the Quran gives four types of advice as detailed in the following verses:

"As to those women on whose part you fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, (1) Admonish them, (2) refuse to share their beds, (3) beat them lightly; but if they return to obedience seek not against them means of annoyance: For Allah is Most High, Great. (4) If you fear a break between them, appoint two arbiters, one from his family and the other from hers; If they wish for peace, Allah will cause their reconciliation" (Quran 4:34-35).

The word "beating" is used in the verse, but it does not mean "physical abuse". The Prophet (p.b.u.h.) explained it "dharban ghayra mubarrih" which means "a light tap that leaves no mark". He further said that face must be avoided. Some other scholars are of the view that it is no more than a light touch by siwak, or toothbrush.

The first three are to be tried first. If they fail, then the help of the families concerned should be sought.

For the wife whose husband's ill-conduct is the cause for the marriage's near collapse, the Quran offers the following advice:

"If a wife fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no blame on them if they arrange an amicable settlement between themselves; and such settlement is best" (Quran 4:128).

In this case, the wife is advised to seek reconciliation with her husband (with or without family assistance). It is notable that the Quran is not advising the wife to resort to the two measures of abstention from sex and beating. The reason for this disparity might be to protect the wife from a violent physical reaction by her already misbehaving husband. Such a violent physical reaction will do both the wife and the marriage more harm than good.

To sum up, Islam offers Muslim married couples much viable advice to save their marriages in cases of trouble and tension. If one of the partners is jeopardizing the matrimonial relationship, the other partner is advised by the Quran to do whatever possible and effective in order to save this sacred bond. If all the measures fail, Islam allows the partners to separate peacefully and amicably.

24. In the book of Luke chapter 19 verse 27, Jesus says, "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me." This seems pretty clear that Jesus would have Christians kill all non-believers. How do you explain this?
