Is Nigeria getting better by the day? In terms of her economy and politically. My candid opinion is No! Experience shows that cost is in the increase and corruption is becoming wider, nepotism has become hallmark in public institutions and unemployment is rapidly increasing. Things are not better compared to when i was growing up. Standard of living is declining and costs has hyper-inmcreased. Seems the rigth people are not are the healms of affairs of this country. What legacy will oue yet unborn generation meet. Travelling abroad then, was no big deal as all visa applicants will be granted, reverse is the case today due to the pressure of visa requests and clandestine motives. How, in your own opinion, can the past glory of this country be rescusitated? Just pondering with heavy heart,

The economic figures released from your government will say yes, that Nigeria is getting better. I mean you need to see those Numbers. Unemployment down . . . . Inflation, at near healthy rates . . . Yes, Nigeria is getting better. grin

In the immortal words Tomas Bata: Founder of Bata shoes company

"Let's bear in mind that the chances to multiply wealth are unlimited. All people can become rich. There is an error in our understandings - that all people cannot become equally rich. Wealth can not exist where the people are busy with mutual cheating, have no time for creating values and wealth. It is remarkable that we can find the greatest number of wealthy tradesmen and a population on a high standard of living in countries with a high level of business morality. On the other hand, we can find poor tradesmen and entrepreneurs and an impoverished population in countries with a low standard of business morality. This is natural because these people concentrate on cheating one another instead of trying to create value."
