The State Security Service (SSS) and
the police have revealed in the result
of their investigation that most of
the explosives used by the Boko
Haram sect were gotten from its raid
from construction companies across
four Northern States to include
Bauchi, Gombe, Bornu and Sokoto.
Sources have revealed that a
combined investigation carried out
by the police and the SSS showed
that most of the explosives in the
recent operations of the Boko Haram
Sect were looted from warehouses
of construction companies in the
aforementioned states.
It was revealed that Some agents of
the Boko Haram sect had carried out
an operation in these four states
while catering away with explosives
such as Type C4 last year when they
attacked different stores of some
quarries in Sokoto, Borno, Bauchi
and Gombe states.
It was learnt that Type C4 explosives
are generally deployed for blasting
of huge rocks and are equally
dangerous even in a distance.
Security sources have revealed that
due to this development, it is now
compulsory for quarries to receive
prior permission from security
agents before carrying out what can
be considered their normal
activities. Compounding their
present trouble, it was also revealed
that most of the affected companies
did not report the incidents to the
government and must be sanctioned
accordingly.
The sources revealed that instead of
reporting the case to the relevant
security agents, the companies
covered the incidents up by merely
sacking their security officers and
supervisors on duty.
“The companies affected covered up
the incidents by only sacking the
supervisors and some security men
on duty during the attacks, because
of the fear of reprimand from
government. Unfortunately, such
raids have now left dangerous
explosives called Type C4 in the
hands of the sect members. The
explosives, known as the
conventional Type C4 and used to
blast rocks, are regarded as very
deadly,”
It has been revealed as such that all
queries activities carried out in the
country without proper permission
from the relevant authority will be
considered illegal and such company
will face serious punishment.http://dailypost.com.ng/2012/02/21/how-boko-haram-got-explosives-from-construction-companies/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=how-boko-haram-got-explosives-from-construction-companies

Lies. Did the company come out to complain that their explossives have been looted. Let us call a spade a spade. If you are trying to make it look like they don't have external sponsors bringing in arms for them, they are liars. I recall when IEDs Explosives rocket lunchers were imported into this country but was seen by our SSS they now claimed it was not meant to come to Nigeria. Soon after that we started hearing explosions here and there. These people are being sponsored.
