http://pmnewsnigeria.com/2012/02/22/illegal-abortion-boyfriend-doctor-nurse-arrested/ A 43-Year-Old Ghanaian, Abba Godwin, who resides at No 10, Tunde Taiwo street, Epe, Lagos State, has been arrested over an illegal abortion he did on a 16-year old girl in Shangotedo area of Ajah, Lagos. Those arrested alongside the quack doctor was Fausat Salaudeen,an unregistered nurse and the boyfriend, Benjamen Amisah, 28, who impregnated the teenage girl. P.M.News investigation revealed that the abortion which was badly done took the girl to a hospital where she was properly operated upon and the uterus removed to save her life after the quack doctor had perforated her womb. As at the time of filing in this report doctors were battling to save the girl’s life, while the suspects are helping the police in their investigations. |
