The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operation, Tunde Sobulo, on Monday said armed robbers had been using Lagos and Edo states as their operation-base in the south-west.

He, however, explained that the police had curtailed their activities, since noticing it, by ensuring a comprehensive check on movement through border towns.

Sobulo disclosed this while speaking to journalists on the activities of criminals in Lagos State in recent times.

no need for all that, just develop a flat tyre at Oshodi anything 7:30 pm to 11pm

you will be surprised how as much as 200 different instances of arrests will be made in one night.
those boys are always waiting at every corner waiting for you to make a terrible mistake

I know of a lady who was robbed about 2weeks ago somewhere in Ojota at gun point with everything she had, taken away from her. Also we have heard numerous cases of ladies being threatened and/or killed in most cases without anything being done by the police.
It is so sad the while some people wake up early in the morning to go about their legitimate business, some evil boys are somewhere watching to rob them, using okada and leaving majority of them injured.
God will take revenge of innocent people on our police men who have refused to do their work and the ones aiding the robbers with guns and information about unsuspecting victims.
Shame on evil Nigerian policemen!!!

bait cars and baits in general is against the unofficial policy of the Nigeria Police Force. The police would not want to confront thieves or armed robbers. They only do it when there is no other way out or excuse, putting bait cars or baits would make to to confront thieves and armed robbers face-to-face on a daily bases, not a smart Nigerian Police move!

Guys u had beta b careful of policemen nowadays.They are turning to something else.A man share a personal incident with me saying he was robbed of his car and cash along lagos ibadan expressway by d men of the underworld.So when d thieves left he was stranded and he startd trekn,he got to a police checkpoint not far from where he was robbed.He complained to them,did u knw wat the police reply was?The officer asked him dat hw much was he being robbed of.OUR police is notin to write home about,today i saw corruptn at its peak at the lokoja NNPC mega station,first if you dont want to join the qeue u av to pay #200 to ur felo driver to giv u way nd dsame amount to d police in order not to be barged out from the qeue,funny enough they already knw where to take it from the car.POLICE POLICE POLICE
