The "risk" is that if your bid is higher than the stop rate, then you'll lose out. That is, your money stays in your account.
Exactly

Pls guys, does custodial fee increase over time? And when do they charge for it? Before or at maturity? I just got a debit alert of N2000 from my bank for a bid I placed on Monday. Note that previously it was charged on maturity an was less than N900. They have never told me the rate.

They take all their fees, and send your interests as soon as your bid goes through . At maturity you are paid the amount you bid for.

minimum varies from bank to bank some but the minimum for gt,first bank ,diamond is 100k but you must have a savings account for you to be able to buy just walk into any of the banks and make enquiries but please comb thoroughly through this thread because some bank/staffs could be very funny if you are a newbiee and have no idea about it
