Presented by the Igbo Community of South Australia and hosted by Chika Anyanwu, on location at the Burnside Ballroom, Adelaide, South Australia, 15 August 2009. Indigenous welcome by elder Frank Wanganeen of the Kaurna country. Special Guests of Honour: Premier of SA represented by Ms Chloe Fox MP Parliamentary Sec and Member for Bright Leader of the Opposition represented by Hon David Ridgway MLC, Liberal Leader in the Legislative Council President of African Community Council Leaders of African communities Other than the breaking of the Kola by Mazi Elekwachi and Chris Obi, Performances include: Lamine Nanky Burundi drummers Odenigbo Dance Igbo War Dance South African Choir Shedrick in Hiphop Igbo traditional wrestling and yam tasting. This is a 10 minute video showing highlights of the DVD. |
