George Clooney and several congressmen were arrested Friday outside of the Sudanese embassy in Washington D.C. The arrests were anticipated and part of the actor's effort to draw attention to the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.

The actor and politicians were protesting the country's blockade of supplies and humanitarian aide. Clooney was reportedly handcuffed and placed in the back of a police cab.

Not only that, it was a peaceful protest, unlike those experienced in nigeria where roads are barricaded, thugs beat up non supporters, etc. Now giving this facts, can any one see why the SNG would loss it's court case against the federal government and why the federal goverment was right in arresting those no do-gooders

What Clooney is campaigning for is a peaceful diplomatic end to the crisis, but no one seems to be doing anything @ all.

I mentioned China because they have abt $20b worth or oil infrastructural investment there and since they shut out their oil supplies, they just turned to the world market disregarding the situation in Sudan.
