Is It Right For Nlc & Tuc To Endorse Or Hold Rally For Any Candidate? by iluvnaija: 1:03pm On Mar 23, 2012
I just watched on the news that NLC/TUC held a rally for Gov. Oshiomhole. Dont get me wrong I am not against Gov. Oshiomhole's candidacy but is it right for NLC/TUC to hold rally in support and endorsement for Gov. Oshiomhole?

I believe no all civil servants will vote for Oshiomhole, I beleive they are suppose to vote for candidate of their choice. If NLC/TUC dicide to take this step and tomorrow Gov. Oshiomhole go the other way round, How are they suppose to criticize him? My oppinion is NLC/TUC has lost their value by taking this step because NLC/TUC is not a political party, it is suppose to be a union for the whole country no matter how good the performance of the governor or president will be, they are suppose to stand alone to correct any wrong doing of any Govt in power. Asking all civil servants to go out for rally in support of the gov. in power is a wrong step in a wrong direction.

Thanks.
