The Peoples Democratic Party candidate in Saturday’s governorship election rerun in Kebbi State, Alhaji Saidu Dakingari has been declared winner of the poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission. He scored 875, 492 votes to beat the Congress for Progressive Change’s candidate, Abubakar Garu Mallam, who polled 17, 918 votes. The Action Congress of Nigeria’s candidate recorded 4, 555 votes. |
