My external hard drive WD does not display when I plug it to my laptop. It rolls inside but does not display on the laptop.A virus affected it.Please anybody with a software that can repair it? please call 08032802872. |

Have you tried it on another laptop/PC? Have you tried using another USB cable? |

What OS is it connected to? If its windows, atimes drives need to be manually assigned a drive letter before you can see it. You could try @aieromon's suggestions firstly to verify if its ok. And then, you can return here for more updates/tips if its doesn't work still. |

If it is Western Digital (WD) the hard drive that was used for INEC Registration that comes with a black casing, then forget it! I have up to 3 of them which was brought by some clients for fixing. |
