move, feels it is detrimental to a players'
progression
Chelsea starlet Lucas Piazon has slammed the
club's policy of repeatedly loaning out young
stars, insisting it "makes no sense" and is
detrimental to a player's progression.
The Brazilian, 22, moved to Stamford Bridge in
2012 and made three appearances for the club
in his first season, before being shipped out
on five different loan spells since - most
recently to Championship side Fulham.
Chelsea have loaned out 38 players over the
summer, an increase on last season's 35,
including 19 in England and the likes of the
more established Juan Cuadrado to
Juventus. Piazon, though, sees little benefit.
"It makes no sense to go on loan all the
time," he told the Daily Mail . "It is not good
for any player in my experience — or the
experience of the other boys. I don't see it
as a positive thing any more. To be in a
different place every year is not good for me
at 22.
"It's difficult to get a place in the team. They
have their own players. You do your best, try
to get a place in the squad, minutes on the
pitch, score and create goals. That's all you
can do."
He added: "I still want to make it at Chelsea,
of course. I came to Europe to play for
Chelsea and want to do it. Maybe I can come
back in the future.
"If that's not possible I want to go
somewhere and stay for more than one season.
Not just stay stuck in the club."
Piazon says he is yet to discuss much with
new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, with the
first-team squad taking part in a busy pre-
season scheduled following the Italian's Euro
2016 commitments.
He said: "We haven't spoken much and we've
said nothing about football.
"It's difficult when there's a big change. The
Italian mentality is to train hard. They arrived
and then went to Austria and then to the USA.
The players have found the training tough but
they're enjoying it."

The boy is in conte's plan,we won't sell him to bayern second team

I am still trying to figure out what role mikel will be given as he returns. By january i wish he moves to germany or get one team in spain. I cant see him displacing kante in that holding role. I was n't impressed by his game at the olympics.

Short term fix for the amount involved sounds absurd.
Luiz is not as bad a player as many would suggest, with Kante and Matic screening the defense and Conte's conservative approach to the game, I don't see him being exposed often time.

Luiz was a panic buy imo.

If the rumours that Zouma was being hawked around in Germany are true, then Zouma may actually have no future under Conte.
Christensen's future remains to be seen, but I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't feature in Conte's long term thinking either...
