No, he does NOT release the ball quickly enough and sometimes kills a move by holding on to the ball far longer than necessary. Very annoying. He can become and will be a better player by making quicker decisions on the ball. However, he is not totally visionless. That will be untrue.


The win today was down to the team, not just Hazard. EVERY SINGLE PLAYER worked very hard. The team won.

if he had not played well penultimate season then i would have joined them. I knew what he could do. I had wanted him to even go to spain where he would shut many people's mouths. Same goes for matic , with good manager, who is good in players' management i knew these guys would get back to shapes. That was why i did nt fault david luiz deal, because i believe conte would talk sense to him and work on his poor positioning and other lapses. For now he is not doing badly. The team's formation lifts the defensive burden from hazard somehow, not everyone is built like kante and that energy gained could be used to render better attacks, assists, score goals and lift the team. The confidence will gradually build up. Barring injury problems i see a formidable team in the making.

what you don't understand is that in such situation, he prefers to hold unto possession than pass the ball when there is no likelihood of the ball getting to the Player on the run.
