It's because Moses is far too unproductive for a player that finds himself in very interesting positions. Few goals, even fewer assists. Last game, Moses made only 19 passes for the entire duration he played.

Eventually, any player that contributes better offensively than Moses, will bench him.

His main job is to defend mostly and not attack. Though, that would be a plus but in defending is the main priority and he's not failing in that aspect.

A wing back's role is to provide balance between offensive and defensive positions. That's why his starting position is further up the pitch. If his primary role is to defend, then he will be a full back. But he's not.

There's no use redefining the wing back position to defend Moses.

Just search the keywords Nateevs, Moses and unproductive and you will find that this is a topic that has been in discussion for a long time, after extensive evaluation of what Moses brings in offensive positions, when finding himself time after time in interesting positions.
