Correction 101

To correct your spouse, use the "sandwich" approach recommended by Dale Carnegie in his book "How to Win Friends and Influence People".

Begin by saying something specific you like about them.
Secondly, mention what you want them to consider changing, something you don't like.
Finally, appreciate another specific thing you like about them.

NB: The point is to make the correction easy to understand and accept. Therefore, we recommend you adapt this principle to your particular situation.
