Fergus Dodd a British national have started an e-petition calling on the British Government to apologise for its role in the Biafra war. Speaking exclusively to Radio Biafra London about why he felt compelled to embark on this crusade,mr Dodd said the prevailing political climate and impending disastrous disintegration of Nigeria has vindicated the Vision that underpinned the call for Biafra independence in 1967. He said that all is needed is 100000 signatories and the British government will be compelled to debate it in the British law making chamber, the House of Commons. He tasked Radio Biafra to use its global reach to inform Biafrans and friends of Biafra about this Laudable initiative and for people of all persuasions to go online and sign the petition by visiting(http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/4662) |
