Is Amen a spirit? or is Amen Jesus? Rev. 3:14 shows that Amen is a truthful witness so whatever you say is made valid by Amen So whats your opinion about this "Amen" |

Hi @ebony4life, ebony4life: Well, that is like trying to distinguish between 'amen' as a 'spirit' and He who is the Amen (Jesus). To be sure, Rev. 3:14 declares directly from Jesus that He is 'THE Amen' - in which context, He is the One in whom is found the true value or estimate of all things. He is THE Truth (John 14:6) - He bears witness to 'the truth' (John 18:37) - and He ever speaks the truth (John 8:45). As such, He is 'THE Amen' - the One in whom the truth about all things are made manifest and estimated. It is also interesting to note that in 2 Corinthians 1:20, Jesus is the One who brings the promises of God into reality in our lives: "For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us." All that God has promised will find fulfillment in Jesus Christ. Shallom. |

Revelation 3:14 “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;” This quote, from the Christian Bible, shows the definite article “the” before Amen. The Koran also uses it as El Mu'min (Koran 23:1, 4:92) in countless places. Both of these mythological religions (christianity and Islam) are subtly giving praise to your ancestor Amun-Ra, the husband of Mut (photo), Queen of the heavenly skies. (They use his name at the end of their prayers, e.g. amen, and ameen.) His symbol is the sun, the fire of nature. That is causing the skin cancer and eventual elimination of people without melanin, the cursed albino seed (the seed of Canaan; Leviticus 13); and their return into the shadows of the caves. Amen-Ra, God of Kings and King of Gods. The oldest and longest venerated ruler of ancient Tamare falsely called Africa today, Amun, meaning "hidden" and Ra meaning "light" translates to "hidden light". The many of the bible story have been copied and plagarised from the Ancient Africa (falsely caled Egyptian culture today). The Word The Amen of Revelations 3: 14 tells you that the Amen is Subject (meaning it is something with attribute and characteristics). Revelation 3:14 “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;” Also note how the bible says that this Amen is the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God. This tells you that the God of the Bible has a beginning and that Amen was the witness to God's creation. The religious people don't have a clue what Amen means. The took this word from Ancient Tamare and mixed it into their mythological religions of Judaism, Islam and Christianity. |

Kuns: I guess the sun has never caused cancer for melanin people - it only causes them to become "black", right? Kuns: How many people have ever referred to "Ancient Africa" as "Egyptian culture"? How many people have confused a "continent" for a "culture"? Kuns: Without your usual drama of re-engineering words, could you please tell us the meaning of the word 'Amen'? |

Betty605: 'Amen' - "so be it, truly" Jeremiah 28:6 -- Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD'S house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place. 1 Kings 1:36 -- And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king, and said, Amen: the LORD God of my lord the king say so too. |

@Poster, I don't believe that verse is speaking of Amen as being a spirit of any kind. The AMEN in that context is used in the same way as the qualifier right after it is. Note the use of the word THE before Amen. Whomever is being refered to is being called 1) THE Amen, 2)THE faithful and true witness, 3) THE beginning of the creation of God Amen, like @Pilgrim.1 pointed out simply means SO BE IT OR LET IT BE DONE AS IT IS SPOKEN, |

2 Corinthians 1:20 - 'For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.' Romans 11:36 -- 'For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.' |
