ulonnaya21: I don't know what some of us are saying. How much do you think that the said Tricycle cost? You don't know abi? Ok. You came out of school, graduate doing nothing. No job and you can not create one because you don't have any special skills in the first place. You are there, in the morning you will say 'yes it's morning' in the evening you will say 'yes it's evening'. Roaming the streets doing virtually nothing.
Anyway, for those of us that are tired of roaming aimlessly, we have decided to take up these tricycles to better our lives. If you have problem with that, it's your business and you will continue to be broke, always begging for money. I am a graduate and through this keke empowerment, men! am living and feeding my family while I have gone back to school to continue my studies doing my Masters programme.
Kudos to the government of Abia state on this tricycle empowerment program.

@ulonnaya21

The problem with peoples like u is u don't know any better. In d good old days bearly 25 years ago artisan can afford to buy brand new pickups to do their work, but today our masters degree graduates have been reduced to shouting halleluyah when given a tricycle.

How did we get to this stage.
the only time I saw a tricycle in d mid 80's was in an Indian film.

emindu or what do you call yourself.TA Orji has been a lier and will remain one forever. In his usual deceit. If he divides 500 tricycle to 17 LGA. They will each have at best 30 tri-cylces and not 50 as he wants you to believe.TA orji no doubt looks very much like a 'below averager'. He has not proved it wrong.If Tri-Cycling is what he wants for the state youths in 2012, he should bury his head in shame. In Aba and its environs no single state project is going on. Traders are in fear for the rains are once again here. Some schools are shut-down because there are roads. After his rains, will he still ramain in Abia?? Time shall tell...

^^^Ejine nwanna, you're just being modest. You tell a lie on the bolded and you know it. I do think your Governor is now waking up and just starting to have a good vision for Delta State (he just needs to up his game on good governance, prudence and accountability); Orji on the other hand is visionless. I have nothing personal against him, and think he's trying his best, but unfortunately his best just isn't good enough.

When i hear you complain about the pace of development in your state, and i place Delta side by side with Abia in comparison, it reminds me of the analogy of the man that was crying he had no shoes, until he met a dude with no legs; that soon shut him up!!! shocked smiley

Nwanne Abia state esogi na ihe a na eme. Delta state is over 100 times better than Abia. I mean where do we start the comparisons? Asaba and Warri are just waaaaay too advance for any city in Abia. Even Agbor is better than any city in Abia. I can debate anybody on that one because I am from Abia, and I spend a lot of time in Delta state. This TA guy sent us back to midieval times with the trycicle 5hit. Abia is a state where development only occurs in the papers. And it better not rain in Aba with all those drainless roads.

Time will vindicate as well as justify the position of all those who have been condemning the hopeless style of Governance of Governor Theodore Orji of Abia state. About two weeks ago, when debate about the worst performing governor in Nigeria was ragging, i confidently told Naira Landers that who ever Tasted T.A.Orji, would ask that the governor of his state be given back to him. Though the organizers still declared T.A.Orji the Champion of Misgovernance, but i'm happy that T.A.Orji's garulous and dishonest sychophants have finally cleared what ever doubt any one had prior to this time, after this visionless and clueless characters insulted the sensibilities of all of us with this useless Youth Empower Bullshit. One doesn't need to explain that this character called T.AOrji to you guys any more, except to add that the tricycle was meant to woo helpless youths who will always be mandated to come and line the streets in welcoming T.A.Orji when ever he visits his No Go Area city of Aba, as well as prevent people from booing and attacking him. Remember that a few weeks ago, his son had come to Aba to distribute same Keke Napeps to three different deviant groups, namely; Dambilow( Former Mafians), Columbians ( Stadium based Hemp smokers and Drug Sniffers), and New Yorkers ( Renowned Drug Sniffers and Addicts, and theft specialis). These are the misdeeds that Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba has been criticizing, and for which they abused, insulted and wrote many false and defamatory articles here against this innocent man. Thank God you have all seen it.Thank God the people are condemning them, thank God the wrath of God is on them.

AS I WAS SAYING...Ulonnaya21 and Patrick Obi, You should by now have buried your heads in deep shame with the reactions you got from this embarrassing TRI-CYCLE project. It is shameful and heartless for Abia Government to continue to take the people of the state for a ride.You can never initiate meaningful projects but resort to EVACUATION. What on earth did you evacuate.This is the reason why we fault the Peace Award given to T.A ORJI. He never deserved nor merited it because his actions are PROVOCATIVE. He has survived with his PATCH-PATCH Governance because Abians seem to have IMMUNITY for Deceit.HABA!
