TOP NEWS: American Basketball superstar, Kobe Bryant and his estranged wife are no longer getting divorce. According to reports, the two lovebirds who were filing for divorce have reconciled to remain husband and wife.
1. During the week, Chairman of the House of Representatives probe panel on fuel subsidy mismanagement, Farouk Lawan accepted of collecting $500,000 bribe from billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola after rigorous interrogations.

2. Unidentified gunmen on Tuesday killed the deputy leader of Yobe State House of Assembly, Alhaji Adamu Deguba.
3. The Board of the Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC, has directed the Director-General of the Commission, Ms Arunma Oteh to proceed on compulsory leave, to enable them probe allegations of financial misappropriation and disharmony in the apex capital market regulator. The Board has also named Ms Daisy Ekineh, an Executive Commissioner of SEC, to act as Director-General.
4. Ex-Super Eagles Captain J.J Okocha is set to launch his own sports wear line called Jay Jay, which will consist of soccer boots, jerseys, sports bags and other sports accessories.

All the stores in the N16 billion Ikeja City Mall located at Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos were all shut down yesterday by their owners in protest against the new parking fee of N300 per hour implemented by the owners of the mall. Store owners are refusing to open their stores until the parking fees are either cancelled or reduced to an affordable rate, because they believe that the parking fee will chase away customers.
6. In a bid to address the high unemployment problem, especially among youths, the Federal Government has begun the provision of about 370,000 jobs across the country. The Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, made the announcement at the flag-off of the Federal Government Community Service Scheme, held in Yola on Monday. The project, which is under the Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P), is part of the steps taken by President Goodluck Jonathan, to address the problem of youth unemployment.
7. Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomole has sacked the State’s Commissioner for women affairs and social development over gross misconduct.

11. News coming out has it that Ex-Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak is now recuperating after entering into full coma on Monday.
12. TECHNOLOGY NEWS: Apple Inc. has introduced its own mobile mapping service and improved the search capabilities of its Siri voice assistant, taking the fight into Google's domain.
