staijay: finetalk, pls since the general recruitment is over which letter are we expecting to come out? Is it still possible for a person who did his oral interview in march 2013 to be called or is CBN through with them?

Good pple, fss letters did not drop as was speculated (or has anyone received any letter?). Has anything changed? Any update regarding this from anyone will be most appreciated. I greet all of YOU!

@Jambito, it is not called speculation. Its called expectation. We were expecting it this week bt it finally drops in a months time, its the same next week of next week... Finetalk can't be too specific as he's not Emefile Godwin.

You are correct! Finetalk can only share what he has. Afterall, we are not getting any superior or more specific info from the recruiters themselves. Next week or next week of next week of next week ... they're all the same.

Applied in may 2012, interviewed Sept/oct 2013, called to submit documents in jan 2014, medical in may 2014, verbal offer in Aug 2014, offer letter in sept 2014.

I checked CBN website and it seems dormant since 2012. As in yet to be updated. Please:

1) could you post the active link thru which u applied here?

2) could you tell me any firm that recruits for the CBN?

3) Does CBN lay emphasis on class of degree e.g can 2.2 grads apply?

4) can fresh grads wt no work experience apply?

5) can grads frm different fields apart frm finance/banking/economics related courses apply?

@Kentnickole, if u read the thread well u'll get know that we all applied when application was on. There was an advert which was made public and we all applied. That was 2012. Bt finetalk said there could be another advert 2015 or so...

@Kentnickole, ok. Ur answer to question2; Nextzon conducted the recruitment exercise. Question3: yes class of degree matters at least 2.2. Question4: yes fresh grads can apply. Question5:cbn is such a multidiscipline bank that doctors, statisticians, IT, engineers etc have places to occupy. Just that banking and finance have more chances as its a financial institution.
