Solution To The Continuous Increase In Petroleum Pump Price? by spora(m): 10:35am On Nov 29, 2007

There are strong indications that the pains suffered by Nigerians before the reversal of fuel pump price from N75 to N70 by the President Yar’Adua administration may soon return, as the Presidency revealed that continuous increase in the price of crude may lead to a corresponding increase in pump price in Nigeria.

According to Vice President Goodluck Jonathan, with price of crude in the international market going for $100 per barrel, the N70 pump price was no longer attractive to private investors.

What do you think is the lasting solution to the continuous increase in pump price of petroleum in Nigeria?

Solutions are for problems. The continuous rise in petroleum prices is not a problem. It's an attempt to reach market price, so in other words, it's a solution on its own.
