Was wondering, a friend of mine wants to ship in an american continental ride. Its like new and the mileage is very low. Will Nigerian customs sieze it since its a malibu 1967 classic and not a car from 1998 and above as the import law states? Or shuld he still sent it in then clear it as a newer model like 1999 other than what it is as I hear some car dealers do. I need info.

If you can get your agent to clear it, you should be fine. I will advise that you get it containerised though. much safer.

they will let you pay comparable duty in the current year model. You possibly will pay the duty for like a 1999 impala or so.

What engine are you running? 350 or 454?

An old thread yes but did this car make it into Nigeria?
