The DStv Mobile introductory phase will soon come to an end and a subscription charge will be applicable meaning you'll now be charged for the DSTV service. From 01 June, the various bouquets will be phased in and subscribers may be able to view certain channels/bouquets from 02 June The entire billing process, across all the applicable countries in conjunction with the relevant Mobile Network Operators, will be completed as soon as possible and a completion date will be announced soon. Just be patient and keep enjoying the 2free channels till the new process is completed |

raycomray: I don't have the two phones now with me to give you step by step guidance bt I'll just try and create a mental map i guess You'll have to transfer the information using the Phone Switch feature,I can't say right now if the N72 has that feature bt you'll use Bluetooth to do this. 1. Put on the bluetooth on both phones 2. On the Nokia X2-01, Go to Menu-Settings-Sync and Backup-Phone Switch and select Copy to this 3. Select the data you want to retrieve and select the phone you want to pair with. You should be able to get all your data transfered. |

Phones / Re: Has Dstv/mtn Stopped D Awoof Dstv Mobile Dvbh by amasha(f): 9:26am On May 25, 2011 |
You can try this: 1.Check that the phone can connect to the Internet also check the accesspoint that is been used to connect to the interent, either MTN Wap,MTN Gprs or MTN Access. 2.Go to the DSTV Settings and then set the parental contrrol to 18years,if you're asked for a code and you dont have a code for your phone put 12345. 3.The accesspoint used for purchasing should be the same used to purchase the rights, thats why you have to check the accesspoint to be sure of the one that actually connects the phone to the internet. 4.Do the whole subscribing thing again. Also check your software version. If the phone's software is lower than 30.**** then you might need to do an upgrade. It should work. |

arow-top: To solve the problem, you'll need to do the following: 1. Depending on your Service Provider either (MTN,Airtel,Glo,Etisalat), you'll have to delete all the Internet Access points that you have saved and request for new ones. 2. How you can do that is: Directions: Press the Menu Key, Go to Settings-Connectivity-Settings-Destinations Under Network Destinatins: You have 3categories:Internet,Wap Services and Uncategorised. Under Each Category, delete all the access points you have there 3.After you've done this, request for new Internet Settings from your Service Provider: MTN: Send "Settings" to 3888 Airtel: Send "Internet Nokia E72" to 232 Etisalat: Send "Settings" to 790 Glo: Send "Activate" to 927 4. When you receive the new Internet Settings, save them. Crosscheck by going back to the sure that the Internet Access point is in the right place and not the Uncategorised Folder. 5. After all these has been done,Restart your phone and then open the Ovi Store and try browsing again,it should work. |
